Thirty-three UX related graduate programs are identified in the U.S. Based on interviews from professionals, careers in user experience can be mainly divided into 2 categories: designer and researcher. All programs listed are suitable for designers, while 22 of 33 are also suitable for a career in research. Moreover, programs are ranked in a descending order in terms of the number of courses that UX professionals consider useful at work.
According to interviews from students, I choose some factors that they consider important, including tuition, campus setting, program length and institute type.
